• Production of normal healthy sperm in healthy individuals: Selenium is required for normal sperm maturation and motility. The probable mechanisms of the mineral's actions are antioxidant activity and its role in enzyme activity by glutathione peroxidase. Paternal Plus also contains zinc which is required for normal sperm production by contributing to the formation and maturation of spermatozoa. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and has been shown to improve sperm DNA integrity by lowering DNA oxidation levels in men with low vitamin C levels. Tribulus has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a reproductive tonic to support healthy sexual function and sperm production in males.
